Deals worth $600 million attracted during Texpo 2019

Pakistan’s largest value added textile exhibition “Texpo 2019” took place during last weekend. It has attracted over $600 million worth of orders by foreign buyers. Organised by the government body TDAP, many foreign buyers were even invited and offered all expenses paid trip. Around 363 foreign buyers from more than 50 countries participated in the event, said Mr. Nawaz Sukhera, Federal Commerce Secretary.

 

He also added that 10 MOUs were signed by foreign buyers along with visiting major export houses in Lahore, Sialkot and Faisalabad. More than 5000 b2b meeting were also held during the event.

 

231 exhibitors including new entrant along with the cream of exporters participated at the exhibition. Trade Delegation from various countries also visited Texpo 2019. The prime objective of this exhibition was to enhance on country’s exports mainly in Value Added products of Textiles industry including Garments, Home Textiles and Towels plus Finished Fabrics.

 

Such events are always fruitful and we appreciate these kind of major developments by TDAP. This will definitely help boast export trade of Pakistan.
